Surfers’ Environmental Alliance’s 3rd Annual Surf Contest Goes Off in Fun Surf

Long Branch, NJ
June 8, 2019

Surfers’ Environmental Alliance (“SEA”), along with the City of Long Branch Department of Recreation, hosted its third annual surf contest in fun, clean, and contestable surf on June 8, 2019.  As in the previous years, this contest was free to all participants. The turnout for this year’s event was truly spectacular, and SEA would like to thank all of the volunteers, participants, spectators, and the City of Long Branch for making the event a success.

Over the past several years, SEA has raised over $3 million for environmental and humanitarian causes.  In an effort to increase the awareness of the number of exceptional charities SEA partners with on a regular basis, SEA allows the winner of each division to designate $500 to any of the following charities on behalf of SEA:

Autism Family Services of New Jersey
Surfers Healing
Parents of Autistic Children (POAC)
Best Day Foundation
Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation
Paddle 4 Good
Operation Beachhead
Surfing for Vision

SEA believes this increases the awareness of the role that SEA and other charities play in the local, national, and global community, as well as develop an understanding of the need for community service and philanthropy at a young age.

SEA would like to congratulate all of the contestants this year.  Below is a list of the 2019 winners.
