SEA Scholarships

‘20 – ‘21 ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES

1. The following students are eligible:

1.  High School Seniors who will be attending a college or university in the fall

2. Current undergraduate students who will be returning as an undergraduate in the fall or will be entering a Masters or Doctorate program in the fall

3. Masters or Doctorate students who will  be returning in the fall 

2. Applicants must intend to be enrolled full-time for the Fall 2020 semester.

3. Applicants must be citizens of the United States.

4. To be eligible for the Environmental Studies Scholarship, the applicant’s major must focus on the Environmental Studies/Sciences (Preference will be given to students focused on marine studies.).  To be eligible for the Benjamin J. Keiser Memorial Scholarship, the applicant’s Major must focus on Coastal Engineering.

1. Environmental Studies Scholarship (Up to $10,500 available).
2. The Benjamin J. Keiser Memorial Coastal Engineering Scholarship (Up to $3,500 available).

Please note more than one candidate may be awarded a scholarship.

2. Provide an academic transcript with your application
3. Please include a sealed letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, or civic/community leader.
4. You can apply online with the form below and if your selected you will still need to mail your sealed letter of recommendation and transcripts.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS NOTIFICATION

Applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Committee’s decision by June 30, 2020.  Awards are granted for one year only.
