The Executive Director, manager and supporters of Surfers Environmental Alliance were in attendance for The New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame’s “50 years of Endless Summer”
event at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park. The event consisted of a sampling of the Endless Summer artifact exhibit which was on display at Convention Hall. The evening started with a cocktail hour where surf legends Paul Strauch, Cecil Lear, Walter “Duke” Frattin, as well as many local legends, gathered and reminisced of waves and good times. Before the showing of The Endless Summer Cold War Pro team captains Andrew Gesler and Sam Hammer made an appearance on stage to announce that the Cold War pro teams would be picked after the movie.
