Surfers’ Environmental Alliance and The City of Long Branch held its 2nd Annual Surf Contest this past Saturday and it was great! The waves and weather certainly cooperated and all the kids were ripping!
Special thanks to the City of Long Branch for allowing us to host this event at one of the most iconic surf spots in NJ!
One of the true highlights of the event was when the winning participants in the Team Division (the teams, as a reminder, were chosen at random) decided to dedicate their winning allocation to support the research for a cure of a chronic disease that one of their fellow team members has been living with for over a year. The comradery was absolutely amazing.
