Yale and SEA

Surfers’ Environmental Alliance had plenty of great scholarship applicants this year but it was the first time students from Yale applied and were awarded scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Isabella Rosado and Brittany Wienke are currently students at this prestigious Ivy League University.  Both have declared double majors sharing Environmental Studies as one of them, Brittany is also majoring in Forestry while Isabella has chosen Economics as her additional field of study.

Both students excel in the classroom and also put their time in to give back as Brittany volunteers with local conservation groups and Isabella has been responsible for organizing volunteers as well as volunteering for the Nature Conservancy (TNC).

Surfers’ Environmental Alliance hopes and believes that we will work with these two wonderful students, and all of the other past and present scholarship recipients, on future projects and current issues that align with our mission statement. Congratulations to this years recipients.
