City of Long Branch, New Jersey to Support SEA Paddle NYC

The City of Long Branch, New Jersey has graciously donated it services in the way of sending up a certified EMT and a support jet ski for the 2013 SEA Paddle.

Long Branch will have three of their own lifeguards participating in the SEA Paddle NYC this year.
Seasoned lifeguard, Bryan Gleason,  has participated for several years and is again paddling  in this years event.  Bryan has been an extremely committed participant in the SEA over the years and is a dedicated advocate of SEA’s causes.
Two other Long Branch Lifeguards will be joining Bryan this year, Lawrence Irving and Doug Cornell.
Surfers’ Environmental Alliance has worked harmoniously with the City of Long Branch (One of the most Surfer friendly shore towns in New Jersey) over the years on numerous environmental issues as well as beach access challenges.
The city officials and Long Branch’s departments, including the Department of Emergency Management, have exercised superb diplomacy through the years as they continue to listen to surfers suggestions and wishes, act appropriately which ultimately results in the protection of surf breaks, the beach and providing access to these resources.
